Seize the means of fermentation! ⓵⓵⓵ Robespierre falls asleep
A bulletin on the life and (up)rising of my sourdough starter: Robespierre
Robespierre believes bread-making to be a night affair STOP
during the hours of darkness outside STOP
dough becomes a comforting compagno STOP
while the world falls silent in the arms of Morpheus STOP
the oven hums STOP solitary STOP
and the baker kneads STOP aided by coffee STOP or wine STOP
there are nights STOP such as tonight STOP
however STOP
in which the call of rest doesn't spare the baker STOP
who also falls asleep STOP
while Robespierre mumbles one of two words STOP
about how bakers of today are not how they used to make them STOP
may you see the sun - and yourself - rise, Robespierre STOP
