our liberation day STOP
a day that those partizans never thought STOP
needed to be reminded to all italians STOP
and so Robespierre remembers STOP and sings STOP and celebrates STOP
the heroic actions of women STOP men STOP often just in the prime of their lives STOP
who fought STOP and were tortured STOP and suffered undescribable losses STOP
because they believed in a country free of fascism STOP
and they saw in active resistance STOP
the way to serve their people STOP
wherever you are STOP
fascists of today STOP
nostalgic Mussolinians STOP
your time will come too STOP
